Claude Fable 5's 50% Limit: Shifting Compute Anxiety to Users

Saw this news on IT Home last night; my first reaction was to dig out my lab's Claude subscription bill. Only Max and Team Premium users can use Fable 5, with a 50% cap — meaning if you originally subscribed to a 10M token Max plan, you can now only call 5M tokens of Fable 5. The remaining 5M token quota can only be used for older models. This isn't a disguised price hike; it's straight-up cutting available compute power in half.
