Closed-Loop Knowledge Dynamics: Practical Framework or Theoretical Toy?

The most valuable insight from this article is the proposal of an actionable framework to describe and intervene in a model's "escape" behavior after knowledge saturation. For those focused on practical implementation, saturation isn't a new concept at all. The diminishing marginal returns LLMs show during incremental training, policy collapse in RLHF, and even repetitive patterns in multi-turn dialogues are essentially states where knowledge enters a closed loop. This paper names it "Closed-Loop Knowledge Dynamics" and attempts to turn "how to break the cycle" into a measurable engineering problem.
