A Charging Station Near Munich Made Me Reassess XPeng's Overseas Expansion Logic

Last week while on a business trip in Munich, I made a special detour to visit near XPeng's European R&D center. There’s a newly operational X-Energy megawatt ultra-fast charging station there, with several locally registered G9s parked nearby. I stood in front of the charger for ten minutes checking the real-world data: it took less than 15 minutes to go from 10% to 80%, with peak power approaching 800kW. In the European market, this figure already exceeds what most local operators can offer.
