After 100k km, Who is the True Battery King? Decoding Model 3 Degradation Data
Battery degradation data for Tesla Model 3 after driving over 100k km is out, and the results surprised many. A large-scale analysis by Swedish agency Carla shows that the Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery version supplied by CATL performs best, with much less degradation than other battery types. As soon as this data dropped, it sparked heated discussion in car enthusiast circles and tech communities: Why did LFP batteries, often criticized for range and energy density, become the biggest winner in long-term use? What technical logic lies behind this?
