Samsung AI Filing Data Reveals Trade-offs Between In-House Development and Ecosystem Collaboration

According to a July 16 report by Science and Technology Innovation Daily, Samsung's "Galaxy AI" has passed the filing for generative artificial intelligence services, partnering with Baidu Intelligent Cloud. As of June 2024, China's Cyberspace Administration (CAC) has published four batches of filed large models, with over 180 models completing the filing process cumulatively. Samsung choosing to enter at this moment, and doing so through partnership rather than self-development, is a decision worth dissecting from both technical roadmap and business logic perspectives.
