AI Agents' 'Wallets': How Agentcard Reshapes Trust in Autonomous Machine Payments

I noticed an interesting detail: Agentcard is already on its third release. On ProductHunt, a product iterating repeatedly to a third version indicates that the underlying market demand is shifting from "novelty-seeking" to "essential need." In the past, when we discussed AI Agents, the focus was often on reasoning capabilities, tool calling, and task planning. Few people seriously considered a fundamental question: When agents actually execute tasks for us, how do they pay?

The competitive moat indeed isn't in protocol binding. Banks can't do this because they lack awareness of agent behavioral characteristics. There are no issues with the technical feasibility of security audits and dynamic authorization; the key is whether users have strong willingness to pay. Before agent penetration rises, developers with budgets need to be convinced to buy in first.

Independent payment cards are indeed more practical, but where is the competitive moat for products like this? Banks can offer similar features themselves. Is Agentcard's moat tied to specific agent protocols? The ceiling for this track depends on agent penetration rates; it's still too early, and valuation logic is hard to pin down.
