Connected the ima knowledge base in WorkBuddy, subscribed but don't know how to use it — did I miss a step?
Just past eight in the evening, just got back from the site, tossed my hard hat on the table, and scrolled to a push notification saying WorkBuddy can connect to the ima knowledge base—click 【More】 in the sidebar, then 【ima】, then click subscribe to knowledge bases to discover more, and in the plaza there are supposedly 20+ industries where people have already built libraries. I've used WorkBuddy for three months, pretty familiar with organizing weekly reports and filing materials, but this feature is genuinely the first time I've clicked into it.
I followed the steps, got into the plaza, found a construction-related library, and clicked subscribe. Back in the chat window, I asked what the code requirements are for scaffolding erection. The output looked pretty legit, but I couldn't really tell the difference from just asking it directly, and I didn't see it cite any sources.
The real blocker was building my own library. I have a few PDFs returned by the supervision engineer, this year's safety inspection records from the project department, and scanned copies of two local codes. I figured I'd dump them all in and query by project later, saving me from digging through folders every time. But I'm not sure how to make it search them after dumping them in—do I have to explicitly say "go look in my library" every time, or does it recognize it on its own?
I tried once, and the answer felt like it was just repeating what we'd talked about earlier, not really like it went through the library. Maybe I asked too vaguely, stuffing several meanings into one sentence.
So I'm here to ask: for subscribed libraries versus self-built private libraries, do you have to specify them separately when invoking? And for those libraries in the plaza, how do you tell if they're new or reliable—I can't exactly verify them one by one myself. Anyone who's been down this road, point me in the right direction.
