WorkBuddy Model Config Throws "Invalid Model" After Filling It In—Did I Pick the Wrong Plan?
I always thought the most time-consuming part of these desktop agents would be learning how it works, but what got me stuck the longest last night was a single line of address.
I've used WorkBuddy for over two months, mostly just organizing folders, merging spreadsheets, converting email attachments to CSV — I'd never once clicked open the model settings tab. Yesterday I came across an article about Token Plan configuration, saying that if you fill in the access address and Key, you can drive it with domestic models, billed by credits. I figured it's all Tencent Cloud's own stuff anyway, the pipeline should be smooth, so I gave it a try.
Filled in three items as instructed. For the address I put the /plan/v3 one, the Key started with sk-tp, and for the model I put GLM-5.3. Clicked save, no error, and I thought it worked, so I had it do the simplest task — open a webpage and grab the title. It spun for a while, then a line popped up: invalid model, with what looked like a 20033 in parentheses after it.
My first thought was that I'd copied the Key with an extra space, so I deleted and repasted — same thing. Then I changed the model to all lowercase glm-5.3 — still no good. One time in between it turned into a 401; that time I suspect I'd carelessly deleted the trailing slash on the address, and adding it back restored it.
Now I'm a bit lost on direction. Is it a problem with how the model ID is written, or does the tier of plan I bought simply not include this model? The article said the general version and the Hy version are separate, with different model pools, but when I flipped through the subscription page I didn't see it clearly stated which tier corresponds to which IDs.
Has anyone hit this pit? Could you say how to confirm which models your tier can actually use. Also, if I'm only running file organizing and spreadsheet merging type tasks, is the cheaper Hy version enough, and roughly how many credits would I use in a month — I have no idea at all.
