Installed a Skill in WorkBuddy but it doesn't seem to work—did I miss a step?

I came across that Tencent Cloud beginner's guide, and chapter five is all about how to load a Skill that's actually usable. My ears perked up right away, because this is the part I still haven't figured out.

I've been using WorkBuddy for two months, and the day-to-day stuff is pretty smooth—docs, spreadsheets, weekly reports, I can just toss them all at it. But Skills, I've always steered around them. Last week I wanted to give it a proper try. A client sent over seven or eight inquiry emails, and I wanted it to sort them by product model and spit out a table. The tutorial said just install a Skill, so I browsed through and picked one that looked like it handled spreadsheets, and clicked install. The interface did show it as enabled.

But the moment I put it to work, the output was exactly the same as if I hadn't installed anything. It just copied the email text back to me paragraph by paragraph, with models and quantities all jumbled together. I tried two more times, even re-dragged the files in once, and it was the same. One time it replied with something like "no relevant working directory found," but it flashed by so fast I didn't catch it clearly. So now I suspect—do I need to set up a working directory first, put all the files in that folder, and only then will the Skill know what to process?

And there's an even more basic issue. The second half of chapter five covers disabling and uninstalling Skills. I clicked the X like it said, and it was gone at the time, but the next day when I turned on the computer it was hanging there again by itself. Did I close it the wrong way, or do I have to go into settings to fully delete it?

Anyone else tripped over this? What's the actual order between the working directory and the Skill—create the directory first then install the Skill, or the other way around? And for that one that won't stay closed, how do you all usually handle it?

That "no relevant working directory found" flashing by is the key — create the directory first, then install the Skill.

That "working directory not found" of yours is probably the key — just put the files in one folder first and then let it work, that's more useful than installing any Skill.
