Last night I caught the teaser video for the Geely Xingyue L PLUS while holding an e-drive bench test report in my hands. Honestly, seeing "mid-to-large flagship smart hybrid SUV" and "LiDAR hardware" mentioned together triggers a reflexive cost calculation for any engineer. The vehicle's declared dimensions have reached 4955/1960/1769 mm with a wheelbase of 2900 mm, yet it remains a five-seater—definitely a size up from the current Xingyue L. With larger dimensions, rear passenger and trunk space will likely be more generous. For the hybrid system, frontal area, curb weight, rolling resistance, and thermal load all change accordingly.

Geely's cost control is ruthless, but the calibration stability of LiDAR in sub-100k RMB cars is the real trap for future maintenance.
