I don't know if WorkBuddy has consciousness, but at least it knows what it's supposed to do

Yesterday I watched an AI popular science lecture from NTU about AI and consciousness. Ye Suling demonstrated a Sperling Test: a set of letters flashes on the screen and then disappears, asking subjects to recall them. In the first round, no one could write down all of them. In the second round, with an auditory cue specifying which column to recall, accuracy shot up immediately. The conclusion is that the information was actually seen, but it just didn't enter the conscious channel available for extraction. While watching, I thought, isn't this exactly how I felt during my first few days using WorkBuddy? All the info was there, but I didn't know what to extract, so I ended up remembering nothing.
