WorkBuddy is OpenClaw-based, yet tutorials teach deploying OpenClaw with it—is this circular?

I just saw a tutorial titled "Full Process of Deploying OpenClaw 2026 with WorkBuddy Assistance," which included a large chunk of configuration involving the DeepSeek model and Parallel Search. My first reaction was: isn't this a bit convoluted? I work in psychological counseling, and usually only use WorkBuddy for organizing documents and meeting notes—I get headaches just looking at command lines. But the tutorial said you could use this GUI-based tool to install tools that don't have a GUI. It sounded great, so I gave it a try.
