Getting Groq Running from Registration to First Call: For Those New to APIs

As someone who knows absolutely nothing about this, I tried Groq's cloud service. Background first: Groq makes AI chips and recently pivoted to cloud services, called Neocloud. Valued at $3.5 billion, they just raised $350 million, with NVIDIA planning to participate. Basically, they put their LPU chips in data centers and rent them out monthly to people who don't want to buy GPUs. What an LPU is doesn't matter; you just need to know it runs large models really fast.
