Judges Delegating Rulings to AI: Who Is Liable for Errors?

Saw this ruling last Thursday night. First thought: the case itself isn't complex, but the conclusion is interesting. The judge is protected by judicial immunity even if they relied almost entirely on AI to draft an order, meaning parties can't sue the judge because of it. Simply put, if AI does the work for you, you still take the blame—and there's legal backing for that too. I sent the full text of the ruling to our company's legal counsel, and she replied that this logic is actually quite important for entrepreneurs.

AI writing code is indeed satisfying, but the architecture sucks big time. I just stepped on this mine last week... Anyway, key decisions still need humans to make the call. Blaming AI isn't realistic.
