Just sharing something: Bloomberg reported that Sachin Bansal's Navi is pushing for an IPO, having hired banks with a size of roughly $315 million. But if you dig into the history, when this company filed in March 2022, the stated size was actually larger than this time. Four years later, the pie has actually shrunk.

This news is worth paying attention to. Looking at industry trends, the valuation logic for Indian fintech is indeed correcting. Capital now values actual profitability over stories. Behind Navi's downsized IPO lies the market's waning patience with the burn-money model—the window might be shorter than imagined.

Lol, back in the day, just throwing out some hype could get you a 10x P/S ratio. Now with $315M valuation, we still have to squeeze into the window ahead of Flipkart... if we can go public, let's do it. Let's not stress about the valuation for now.
