Autonomous intelligence is lowering barriers for productivity software

Just like how the iPhone didn't need a physical keyboard and touchscreens killed BlackBerry, AI agents don't require users to open any SaaS interfaces anymore. They directly click buttons, fill out forms, and send emails for you. You just need to say, "Schedule next week's client visits, prioritizing those I haven't contacted in the last three months," and leave the rest—checking records in the CRM, arranging times in the calendar, sending confirmations via email—to the Agent to handle. This isn't some future concept; I ran a few demos, and it's doable right now. It's just stuck on permissions and data security issues.
