The 'fundamental flaw' open-source communities accepted long ago that LLM vendors still ignore
I noticed an interesting detail: MIT TechReview calls LLMs' vulnerability to attacks a "fundamental flaw," as if it's some new discovery. But in the open-source community, we've long been used to this kind of defect—it's essentially just an input validation problem, no different from SQL injection twenty years ago.
