When Meituan Becomes an API, AI Course Case Studies Need Updating

I noticed an interesting detail: Meituan is retreating from being the "yellow delivery box" to a state where "the yellow delivery box remains, but the yellow app has vanished." Using Tencent Yuanbao to order a beef rice bowl, the AI handles search, coupon collection, and ordering—the user never touches the Meituan interface. If brought into an IT class, this would be a perfect entry point to help students understand what it means for "AI to become infrastructure rather than just an application itself."
