Huawei ADS 5 Max on Yijing X9: Valuation Shifts from "Self-Research Faith" to "Huawei Premium"

Last week, I test-drove a prototype equipped with Huawei's Qiankun ADS 3.0 at Shanghai Hongqiao. I had to take over twice in half an hour: once because a food delivery e-bike suddenly popped out at a traffic light intersection, and another time because the system hesitated in identifying cones in a construction zone. An engineer nearby said, "The 5.0 version will boost the pass rate for these scenarios from 82% to 95%." What I was thinking at the time was: if the Yijing X9 launches with ADS 5 Max across all trims, then what it's really selling isn't a car, but "monthly-updated autonomous driving capabilities."
