Jensen Huang's First Tweet Is Actually a Wake-Up Call for the Smart Home Industry

Last winter, I helped my parents debug their smart home setup. The voice assistant completely failed to understand commands like "turn off the living room lights but don't turn off the TV." It turned out the cloud model had been upgraded—it became "smarter" but more rigid, refusing to interpret vague intents. If we'd used an open-source model at the time, we could have at least fine-tuned it locally to learn my parents' accents and habits.
