Compute Bottleneck: Paradigm Shift in AI Architecture Driven by 6x Token Growth

According to data disclosed by Huawei's Government & Enterprise Internet Systems Department at a media briefing on July 24, 2024, Token call volumes during the current commercialization phase of AI large models have increased 6 times compared to the technical verification phase. If broken down into daily average inference requests, this means jumping from millions of Tokens per day to tens of millions. More critically, Huawei stated that "transport capacity" rather than "computing power" is currently the biggest bottleneck, and explicitly opposed the path dependence on obsessing over single-chip process nodes.
