Without Compute First, Are Robots Just 'Smart' Arms? AI Competition Logic from Production Line Integration
At this year's WAIC, the robot exhibition area was packed with people, while rows of computing power cabinets sat quietly, looking like exhibits from another world. This reminds me of a question clients often ask: When we deploy robots, should we buy the robots first or build the computing infrastructure first? After ten years on the production line, my answer is: Computing power first, then robots. Otherwise, you're just buying a more expensive servo motor.
