Substack has integrated the Pangram detection tool, allowing readers to see the percentage of AI-generated content. The direct intent behind this move is to address the issue of "AI disguise"—when creators use AI-assisted writing without disclosure, the platform needs a mechanism to rebuild trust. But as a designer who deals with user behavior daily, I'm more interested in how this tool, once live, will change the underlying logic of reading interactions.
