'Robotization' of AI Phones: Cold Thoughts from a Warehouse Robot Entrepreneur

I noticed an interesting detail: At the WAIC 2026 conference, AI phones replaced humanoid robots as the main focus, with HONOR even directly throwing out the concept of a "Robot Phone." As someone who deals with robots every day, my first reaction wasn't excitement, but wariness—how much fluff is there in this "robot"? For the robots running in our warehouse, every additional feature requires calculating costs and ROI. If you put a "robot" inside a phone, how much are users willing to pay?

Interface adaptation solutions sound expensive right off the bat. Connecting to a WMS system in a warehouse takes half a year of hassle. With hundreds of apps on phones updating annually, who covers the adaptation costs? What exactly are the user scenarios, and how much premium are users willing to pay for this feature?

The ceiling for this track depends on whether users are willing to pay for "autonomous execution," not for "voice Q&A." How exactly did Honor implement their interface adaptation solution? Is it a self-developed middleware or relying on App vendors opening up APIs?
