Tiangai 300 Scaling: Hurdles from SIMT to Real-Time Performance
I noticed an interesting detail: Iluvatar CoreX emphasized in their press release that the Tianshu 300 is "based on a SIMT general-purpose computing architecture," and specifically optimized for typical large model training and inference scenarios like Attention, MoE, AF separation, and PD separation. This sounds very much like the NVIDIA GPU route—SIMT is indeed the cornerstone of CUDA. But as someone who has been working in embedded real-time systems, I care more about whether this GPU can actually be deployed in real-world engineering projects, rather than just running benchmarks in server rooms.
