The partnership between SenseTime's Large Model Infrastructure and Guoxin Digital Computing was signed during WAIC 2026 to jointly build a "National Integrated Computing Power Network Testbed." The discussion this news sparked within the industry goes far beyond just another business deal. In my view, it signals that China's computing infrastructure construction is moving from the rough stage of "just piling up compute power" into a new phase that requires meticulous operating system-level design—and the latter is what will truly determine AI competitiveness over the next decade.
