PHYSIX OBSERVATION
The collective refusal by leading apps shows that phone GUI automation has touched a nerve among platforms regarding data and entry points. Doubao wants to bypass the app ecosystem with a system-level assistant, but WeChat and others have drawn boundaries with their refusal lists. This signals that the permission battle between AI assistants and super apps has only just begun, and users will find it hard to enjoy cross-app automated operations in the short term.
