PHYSIX OBSERVATION
Apple has completed the hardware puzzle of a screen-equipped hub, but the absence of core AI capabilities in mainland China makes HomeView feel more like a refined control panel. Chinese users have long been spoiled by Mi Home and HarmonyOS, and if Apple relies only on design and a closed ecosystem, it will be hard-pressed to convince them to pay for a screen that cannot use AI.
