KEY FACTS
- On October 13, China's first evaluation benchmark covering the entire AI industry chain, Qiusuo 4.0, was officially released.
- The system comprises four major sections - foundational software and hardware, models and intelligent systems, security governance, and industry deployment - with a total of 16 evaluation tools.
- The benchmark incorporates real business workloads from power, healthcare, steel and other sectors, and has completed validation in finance, power, and oil and petrochemical scenarios.
- Lightweight code tools for compute, large models, and agents are open-sourced to facilitate industry reproduction of evaluations and hardware-software co-validation.

PHYSIX OBSERVATION
AI evaluation has long been a free-for-all, with vendor benchmarks lacking comparability and procurement decisions essentially driven by sales pitches. Qiusuo puts real business workloads and open-source tools on the table together, effectively establishing a public yardstick for the industry. The signal is clear: standards must come first to convert compute investment into verifiable deployment capability, and whoever adapts first earns the trust vote first.
