PHYSIX OBSERVATION
AI glasses are breaking out of their niche through tourism, and the logic holds, but don't rush to be optimistic. The Yuyuan pilot relies on Ant Group's full GPASS content and payment infrastructure, which simply cannot be replicated in an ordinary scenic area. The hardware is lighter and translation is more accurate, but battery life can't last a full day, content supply can't keep up, and a starting price of 2,000 yuan puts off ordinary tourists. Tourism is the door-opener, but if AI glasses are treated only as a travel gadget, the ceiling is in plain sight.
