PHYSIX OBSERVATION

Clip-on earbuds are turning from listening tools into health gateways. Edifier has packed heart rate monitoring and an AI coach into the 899 yuan price tier, directly targeting fitness bands and some smartwatches. For users this is good news, as one pair of earbuds covers both exercise and daily life; for the industry it means the boundaries of mid-range wearables are blurring, and traditional audio makers are starting to grab a slice of the health monitoring pie.
