HarmonyOS PC is shifting from system feature updates to developer ecosystem building. The public beta of the DevEco trio means Huawei is filling in its PC development toolchain to attract developer migration. But the tools require 16GB of memory and 100GB of disk space, a fairly high barrier, and whether the ecosystem can scale quickly remains to be seen.
