PHYSIX OBSERVATION

A nearly 50,000-yuan mini PC using 192GB of unified memory and local execution of 300B large models as selling points shows that on-device AI inference is moving from novelty to productivity tool. But the price is already close to entry-level servers, and the audience remains geeks and small teams, making it hard for ordinary users to buy in. What is worth watching is that hardware vendors are rapidly lowering the barrier to running large models locally.
