PHYSIX OBSERVATION
Tesla is clearly aiming to build early momentum in Europe's regulatory and public-opinion arenas by putting the Cybercab's European debut at the Paris Auto Show. But a vehicle without a steering wheel will struggle to meet regulations on the road in the short term, so the display matters more than any actual deployment. Traditional automakers are fighting back with a dense lineup of display vehicles, Chinese brands are present too, and the battle for influence in the European market is entering a new phase.
