PHYSIX OBSERVATION
Zhipu is rolling out its revenue-share model across AWS, Alibaba Cloud, and Huawei Cloud, effectively trading cloud-vendor channels for overseas growth while sidestepping the high cost of building its own sales force. But with a 2 billion yuan loss in the first half and growth that, however explosive, still leaves open whether revenue sharing can cover compute spending. For users, more platform choices are a good thing, and a model price war may be one step closer.
