China's First Provincial-Level World Model Lab Opens in Beijing

PHYSIX OBSERVATION

World models are moving from a paper concept to organized research. Beijing's move to grant a provincial-level platform plaque first is equivalent to bringing the underlying capabilities of embodied intelligence into the official track. Jiashijie leading as a company shows that in the short term this direction relies more on industrial computing power and data. The binding between universities and startups will accelerate, but whether it can produce globally leading results remains to be seen.
