PHYSIX OBSERVATION

Apple has long lagged in the smart speaker market, and HomeView looks more like an entry point to turn things around via its AI assistant than a pure hardware play. A notable signal: Siri AI only supports iPhone 15 Pro and later models, while HomeView lets users of older devices experience it too, effectively using a low-priced device to expand the reach of its AI ecosystem. But whether $299 can pry open a home scenario already dominated by Amazon and Google remains an open question.
