KEY FACTS
- Ant Group released Lingguang 2.0 on October 27, repositioning it as a personal AI assistant.

- Lingguang's user agreement states that Agent operations are treated as the user's own actions.

PHYSIX OBSERVATION
The real-world test of Lingguang 2.0 exposes the core contradiction facing personal AI assistants in China: model capability is no longer the bottleneck; cross-platform permissions, security liability and commercial interests are. Giant ecosystems are closed, so an AI assistant struggles to truly act on the user's behalf; the user agreement then pushes all the risk onto the user. If the business model depends on merchant commissions, the AI's neutrality will be hard to maintain.
