PHYSIX OBSERVATION
Chinese brands are rapidly gaining volume in the UK on value for money. Tariffs can shield European automakers in the short term, but the cost ultimately lands on consumers. More notable is that BYD and its peers are already building factories in Europe to bypass tariffs; trade barriers cannot stop the industrial shift, and if the UK follows suit it will only make its own consumers pay more.
