PHYSIX OBSERVATION

The free extension shows Alibaba values grabbing users over short-term revenue in the developer tools race. For individual developers it is a real cost reduction, but the undefined end date also means it could tighten at any time. What is worth watching is whether this burn-money-for-ecosystem play forces similar platforms to follow with price cuts.
