Nearly 2 Billion Yuan in Revenue in Half a Year: Where Did Zhiyuan's Robots Go?
Wujie Aniu

On October 29, Peng Zhihui, co-founder, president, and CTO of Zhiyuan, disclosed at the Innovation Day that Zhiyuan's overall revenue in the first half of this year was close to 2 billion yuan, with 9,700 robots shipped.
These robots have already gone to different destinations. The small-sized Lingxi series has entered the commercial performance rental, scientific research and education, and data collection markets; the wheeled Jingling G2 has entered factories; and in Chengdu's Kuanzhai Alley, Lingxi X2 has begun receiving tourists.
Zhiyuan has already found multiple types of buyers, and factory customers have also begun to incorporate robots into daily production. However, the company did not disclose the revenue share of each type of customer this time, so the nearly 2 billion yuan in overall revenue cannot yet be broken down into a complete customer bill.

Starting with Commercial Performances, Research, and Data Collection
In its first-half report released in August, Counterpoint Research estimated that Zhiyuan shipped about 9,700 humanoid robots, accounting for more than 40% of global shipments. The report noted that Zhiyuan X2 has spawned different versions for performances, service guidance, scientific research and education, and data production, and has been widely used in China's entertainment performance rental market.
Buying for research and collecting training data, and buying to participate in events, are two different uses. The former provides development teams with hardware and experimental conditions, while the latter involves operators bringing robots to event sites to provide performances, interactions, and other services.
These demands gave robot manufacturers their earliest batch of customers. The same report shows that entertainment performances and data production, as well as scientific research, together still accounted for more than 60% of global humanoid robot shipments in the first half of the year. This proportion refers to the entire industry; Zhiyuan's own customer share has not yet been disclosed.
Zhiyuan is also selling robots to customers with clearer use cases and long-term needs. Longqi Technology is a significant example.
Longqi Puts G2 into Tablet Quality Inspection Section
Longqi is a smart product ODM manufacturer that develops and manufactures products for brand customers. In October 2025, Zhiyuan and Longqi announced a partnership, with Longqi placing a framework order worth hundreds of millions of yuan for Jingling G2, planning to deploy nearly 1,000 units. The framework scale needs to be implemented in batches, and the actual progress of entering production lines is more worth watching.
Guangzhou Daily reported in June that Jingling G2 began entering Longqi's Nanchang factory for adaptation in December last year, completed the integration of 8 units in May this year, covering a mass-production quality inspection section for tablet computers. On June 28, the 15,000th robot rolled off Zhiyuan's line was also delivered to Longqi.
