New Product Launch, Already Applied at a DQ Store
On October 14, Hesai officially launched Kosmo, including the spatial camera Kosmo One and the accompanying cloud platform Kosmo World.
This product suite scans real locations and then generates 3D scenes for robot training. Hesai has begun offering robot companies new products beyond LiDAR.
At a DQ ice cream store in Shanghai, the Sharpa robot has already used a training environment generated by Kosmo.
According to Hesai's disclosure, in the past, manually modeling and recreating this store required a professional team to invest about 300 hours. With Kosmo, on-site scanning takes about 15 minutes, and the data is then used to generate a 3D training environment. In this case, the robot's task success rate reached 99%, and it subsequently went on duty at the store.

Amap to Open 1,000 Pilot Locations
Hesai and Amap will open the first batch of 1,000 offline commercial 3D digitization pilot locations, covering shopping malls, retail outlets, restaurants, and hotels.
The first batch of 3D-reconstructed venues, Chong Art Museum and PIFO Gallery, have already launched on Amap's Street Scan list under "Flying Street View." Users can browse the interior 3D spaces of these venues on their phones.
At the October 14 launch event, Hesai also signed strategic cooperation agreements with Galbot and Yuanli Lingji. Previously, in its Q2 earnings report in August, the company disclosed that Kosmo had received orders from humanoid robot companies, including Galbot.
