Five Months After Being Overtaken by Porsche, Xiaomi Now Has a Permanent Base at the Nürburgring

On October 23, Lei Jun reposted a Weibo post by Hu Zhengnan, Vice President of Xiaomi Group and CTO of its Automotive Division, announcing the opening of the Xiaomi Nürburgring Workshop. The new base sits right beside the Nürburgring GT track and is considerably larger than the previously rented space: its own parking lot, fast-charging station, a dedicated entrance directly onto the track, showers for drivers, and a VIP viewing lounge. In the on-site photos Hu Zhengnan posted, a new car covered in camouflage wrap is parked, and its silhouette matches the SU7 Ultra.
