Sharpa Unveils Three New Products: Which Numbers Should Investors Check?

On September 28, Sharpa showcased the D01 robot, the W02 dexterous hand, and the AE01 data glove. The three products correspond respectively to body movement, hand manipulation, and human manipulation data. Put together, they make the company's approach clear: first let the robot touch and manipulate, then keep training it with real motion.

For investors, a product launch is just the starting point. What needs to be verified next is delivery, task performance, and customer payment: whether the machine can work stably in real scenarios, and whether customers are willing to keep buying.

Each of the three products handles one part of the process

D01

Robot body

Handles mobility, dual-arm motion, and body contact sensing

W02

Dexterous hand

Handles grasping, tactile feedback, and fine manipulation

AE01

Data glove

Records human hand motion for teleoperation and data collection

D01 handles execution, W02 takes on fine grasping, and AE01 brings human motion and contact feedback into the teleoperation process. This combination has a clear technical logic. But "a complete product line" and "a viable commercial loop" are still two different things; the latter needs orders, actual usage hours, and cost data to prove.

The numbers for D01: watch the definitions

Official website materials show that D01 has 66 degrees of freedom in total including the hands, a rated payload of 5 kg per arm, end-effector repeat positioning accuracy of ±0.2 mm, and a body electronic skin sampling rate of 100 Hz. It also comes with dual arms and a teleoperation system, with the focus on completing tasks that require constant contact and force adjustment.
