Yansyn Technology (Ningbo Yanxi Technology Co., Ltd.) was founded in August 2025, is headquartered in the Fudan Hangzhou Bay Science and Innovation Park in Ningbo with an algorithm center in Shanghai, and is one of the few Chinese hard-tech firms focused on deep bionic expression robotics. Instead of the industry's common approach of directly pulling a facial skin, it uses bionic expression muscles as the primary actuation architecture and has produced advances in expression muscles, pupil morphing, tear generation and tactile sensing. Its Xirui (Yansyn-X2) is billed as the world's first bionic expression robot that can shed tears through emotional interaction.
