Company Profile

NOIN (also known as KNOWIN), founded in 2025 and based in Shenzhen, develops consumer-grade household embodied-intelligence robots through a full-stack model-system-product approach. Its GLOW generative embodied foundation model acts as the robot's brain, while the folding dual-arm KNOWIN-X1 body acts as its body, with household skills trained on an interactive 3D world model and synthetic data. The company was founded by Li Yinchuan, a joint PhD graduate of Beijing Institute of Technology and Columbia University, a former principal researcher at Huawei's Noah's Ark Lab and a Huawei Genius Youth recruit. NOIN has completed five funding rounds: an angel-plus round in 2025 at a post-money valuation above RMB 2 billion led by Zhongding Capital, a RMB 500 million angel-plus-plus round on August 10, 2026 led by Matrix Partners China, and a further several-hundred-million-yuan angel-plus-plus-plus round announced on September 29, 2026 led by a JD.com-affiliated fund with participation from Zhengxin Valley Capital, Nanshan Zhanshin Investment and Walden International. The company says cumulative funding exceeds RMB 1 billion. KNOWIN-X1 is scheduled for launch and mass production in the first quarter of 2027.
