Cogleap AI was founded in July 2024 and is headquartered in Huishan District, Wuxi, Jiangsu. It is a brain-inspired intelligence company focused on developing robotic brain systems, taking an approach rooted in biological brain mechanisms rather than conventional compute- and data-heavy methods. The company has built its own whole-brain dynamics algorithms, the DeepSoma whole-brain simulation platform, and the R2S2R world simulator, aiming to create a low-compute, highly generalizable, self-learning, and interpretable native intelligence system for physical robots in industrial inspection and specialized operations. In September 2026, Cogleap AI completed a Pre-A round of several hundred million RMB, oversubscribed by a USD fund, listed companies, and numerous existing shareholders, following multiple angel rounds within the previous year.
